Our History

Established in 1842, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the state of Tennessee. Our history is one of upholding traditions and pushing boundaries.

Regional Accreditation

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
