Men's Soccer Assistant Coach
Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:ÌýThe Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach supports the Head Men’s Soccer Coach in the administration, development, and success of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Men’s Soccer program. The position is responsible for assisting with coaching, recruiting, player development, academic support, and program operations while promoting the mission, values, and standards of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ and its athletic department. The Assistant Coach contributes to creating a competitive, disciplined, and student-centered environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, academic achievement, character development, and sportsmanship.

Under the direct supervision of Head Soccer Coach

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 1.ÌýÌý Assist with planning and conducting team training sessions, practices, and competitive preparations.Ìý
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 2.Ìý ÌýAssist with coaching during contests, including tactical instruction, player evaluation, and game management.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 3.Ìý Support the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in accordance with Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ, conference, and NAIA regulations.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 4.Ìý Participate in on-campus visits, evaluations, communications, and recruiting events as assigned.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 5.Ìý Assist with player development programs focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and mental growth.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 6.Ìý Support the academic success, personal development, and retention of student-athletes.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 7.Ìý Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, travel planning, equipment management, and compliance documentation.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 8.Ìý Collaborate with athletic department staff, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and academic services.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 9.Ìý Promote positive relationships with students, parents, alumni, and the university community.
Ìý ÌýÌý10.ÌýÌý Uphold and enforce team rules, university policies, and athletic department standards.
Ìý ÌýÌý11.Ìý Represent Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Physical Requirements:
Work requires the physical demands of standing, bending, lifting, stooping or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) on an occasional basis (up to 15% of time) and frequent walking; or moderate physical exertion (up to 50 pounds) on an intermittent basis (not a routine part of the job).
